HUMBLE CRUMBLE
INGREDIENTS:
Topping;
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp margarine
Base;
4 green apples
1 tbsp margarine
825 g tin peaches, in juice
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp cornflour
STEPS:
TOPPING
1. Mix the oats, coconut, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
2. Turn the frypan on to medium heat. Add honey and 2 tbsp of margarine. once melted, pour in the topping and mix for 3 -4 minutes. Remove mixture from the pan and place back into the bowl. Turn the frying pan off.
Base
3. Chop apples into small pieces, and turn the frypan to medium heat. Add 1 tbsp margarine to the pan. Add apple and stir for 5 minutes until browned.
4. Add peaches and juice into the pan, add 1 tbsp cinnamon and cornflour. Stir for 3 minutes.
5. Turn off the frypan, sprinkle topping over the fruit and serve.
