Potato Masala Sandwich Recipe | Spicy Potato Breakfast And Kids Lunch Recipe | Easy Potato Snacks

Ingredients:

1/2 kg boiled potatoes
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp red chili powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp ground coriander
Fresh coriander leaves
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp zeera (cumin) powder
4 green chilies
Oil
Bread slices
1 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
3 eggs (optional)

Method:

Start by mashing the boiled potatoes. In a pan, heat some oil, add 1 tbsp ground coriander and 1 tbsp zeera powder, and sauté with chopped green chilies for 1 minute. Then, add the mashed potatoes and mix well.

Add 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp salt, garam masala, turmeric powder, and coriander powder to the potato mixture. Stir thoroughly until all the spices are well combined.

Take a bread slice, spread the potato mixture evenly, and cover it with another slice of bread. Press gently to make a sandwich. Repeat for the desired number of sandwiches.

In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of maida with a pinch of red chili powder, salt, and turmeric. Add water gradually to make a smooth, not-too-thick paste.

Dip each sandwich into the maida paste, ensuring it’s coated evenly.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the sandwiches on low flame for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown and crispy. You can also use eggs for an extra layer of flavor and crunch.
