Chatpata kala (black) chana chaat has to be one of the healthiest snacks! You can easily enjoy this salad by itself as a snack or have it along with your meals as a refreshing side dish.

Try it out if you haven’t already!

Ingredients I used:
– 1 cup, boiled black chana
– 1 medium sized onion, chopped
– 1 medium sized tomato, chopped
– 2 green chillies, finely chopped
– coriander leaves
– juice of 1/2 lemon
– salt (as per taste)
– 1 tsp chilli powder
– 1 tsp chaat masala

Procedure:
– Soak black chana for 4-5 hours, preferably overnight
– Boil it with some fresh water, salt optional
– Put boiled chana in a bowl without water and add all the other ingredients to it.
