Hey Everyone,
Hope you all are doing well and taking good care of yourself and your loved ones.
Have you ever wondered what the doctor or a dietician advices you when you opt for a weight loss program?
They ask you to eat a lot😀. Yes, eat Salads a lot😀 . (ofcourse exercise and workouts is mandatory)
Many a times, the mere thought of having Salads takes us to the conventional way of serving those round pieces of cucumber, carrots, beetroot and tomatoes which adds to a lot of burden and the body craves for more yummy food.

But what if we are given a bowl of very tempting and yummy Salads ,then who wouldn’t like it?
Such salads curb the appetite , improves digestion, aids weight loss, builds immunity and keeps us healthy. One complete bowl of such salads will keep us full for long time and the craving for other junk food decreases. So, develop the habbit of eating Salads in your daily meals and stay healthy and happy😍

In this video, I have shown 3 Salad recipes that are very easy & quick to make and yummy to taste.
2 of them are made by using raw vegetables and 1 with boiled vegetables.

1. Cabbage & Carrot Salad
In this recipe , I have used raw cabbage. It is great in fibre and adds a lot of roughage to the body.
While we all know the benefits of eating raw cabbage , we should also know how to clean it before the consumption.
Veggies like raw cabbage , cauliflowers, iceberg lettuce may contain tapeworms which when consumed could be harmful.
Hence it is utmost important to soak them in Salt water or vinegar for 15 minutes and then strain it.
You may also later put them in ice water to retain its crunchyness.

Please note: the salt should be added only when you are about to eat else the salad will leave water and the veggies won’t remain crispy.
If the salad is in extra quantity, add salt only to the amount of salad you will be eating. Keep the rest in fridge and put salt only when you eat next.

2. Carrot & Beetroot Salad
In this recipe, I have used raw Carrots , beetroots and Pomegranate seeds .
These veggies should be simply washed in flowing water and then consume it AS-IS.
Carrots and beetroots are great source of essential vitamins and minerals.
Pomegranate not only adds to the flavour but also an anti-oxidant and great source of Vitamin C and K.

3. Honey-Kissed veg Salad

For this mouth watering Salad , I have thoroughly washed Potato, Carrot, Beetroot and green peas. The vegetables were boiled with the skin on
to retain all the vitamins and nutrients.
You may also add other vegetables like boiled beans , broccoli etc if you wish to.

Hope the video is quite helpful to you.
I am sure you would be inspired to try these Salads at home and enjoy them.

Don’t forget to send in your comment for favourite Salad amongst the three in the comment section.
