So What’s up everyone and welcome back to my channel so today’s video is going to be whole30 inspired bento box lunches so these are all whole30 approved my husband and myself are on a whole30 right now and so these are the lunches that i have been packing for us when we go
To work so we’re going to start out with hard boiling some eggs i usually use my instapot but my insta pot was busy being used for other things at the moment so we’re just doing the good old fashioned you know on the stovetop i’m also making homemade mayonnaise
Right now and i actually have a whole video about how to make it and i will link that up above and down below for you guys so you can watch that video tutorial and make it yourself now i’m just going to cook some whole30 approved bacon in the oven
And i’m going to get a little yogurt parfait ready for my husband so i bought this silk unsweetened almond milk yogurt i do believe this is whole30 approved and you can check out my whole like grocery haul that i did for whole30 i will link that above and below for you as well
I’m just topping this with some fruit some berries and bananas and some pecans and cinnamon i got these little like thermoses from target and this is the bento box i’ll be using for this lunch this bento box i got from amazon and i will have all my supplies
Linked down below because i use a couple different things in order for me to put these bento boxes together so i’m just cutting up these cucumbers using my little like squiggle cutter i just like it a lot it’s you know something different and then i’m cutting up some peppers
And using some of the tesame’s habanero ranch which is my favorite ranch i love that ranch so much i’m just making a little salad with tomatoes and mixed greens and then i’m going to peel the eggs and make an egg salad with the chopped eggs and the mayo that i just made
So my egg salad is just some mayonnaise some salt and pepper a little bit of apple cider vinegar and i just stir that on up and i’m going to add my cooked bacon so this is kind of a blt egg salad salad egg salad salad you know what i mean
So this is lunch for monday i’m just topping it with some fresh parsley so we have you know just lots of fresh vegetables with our sesame’s ranch i’m including a half a banana with some almond butter just in case he needs a little bit of a snack
And this was the week of my husband’s birthday so i bought carrot cake larabars because carrot cake is his favorite dessert and you know i didn’t want him to miss out on his birthday doing a whole 30. i just pack all of this in his little lunch bag and
It’s ready for him to just take along in the morning okay now we’re on to tuesday tuesday’s lunch is something that i kind of came up with and i really really liked it so this is sweet potato toast that i’m making so it’s literally just sliced sweet potato roasted in the oven
Until tender and just a little crispy and i’m going to be adding some kite hill cream cheese some smoked salmon and some sliced red onion so it’s kind of like you know the locks i just didn’t have any capers but i ended up making these into like little
Sandwiches so i put two ends together and my husband raved about this he said it was so good so i’m definitely gonna have to make this again if you wanted to make more of a sweet option you could do these sweet potatoes with like almond butter bananas and cinnamon
Or you could also do mashed avocado with like an egg then i’m just adding a clementine some fresh berries because they’ve been on sale and they’ve been really good and then i just cut up some cucumber with a little bit of ranch i really like this lunchbox lunch box
It’s one of my favorites and i did get it off of amazon i also got these utensils these are the black utensils and i got these a couple months ago and we use them all the time and then i’m including a spin drift which has been one of my favorite sparkling waters
Because it actually has like real fruit juice in it now on to wednesday i got this new bento box from target this week and it was only ten dollars which is actually very cheap for a bento box and let me tell you guys i’ve been using it for multiple days now like since
Filming this and i love it i’m gonna be going back to target and picking up many more because it’s very deep so it’s perfect for salads and just including a lot of food and so i love it it’s like super durable it’s dishwasher safe microwave safe and
They come in different colors so there’s pink and green and this blue i think those were all the colors but i’m gonna go back and get one of each color at least now i’m just making some turkey wraps this is the apple gate turkey that
I picked up at the store it was on clearance so i bought a bunch and put them in my freezer i just made a little sauce out of my homemade mayo and horseradish and salt and pepper and i cut up some cucumber and i’m just rolling these up and going to stick them
With a toothpick so it’s like little turkey wraps i also got this broccoli slaw that was on clearance and i’m just using the leftover horseradish sauce with some tesames balsamic vinaigrette and some raisins and i’m just mixing that up to make like a very easy broccoli salad
This is just the side to this and i’m also going to add some pickles and these pickles i got at walmart they were in my most recent grocery haul and i love them they are so so good and they’re definitely whole 30 approved in this lunch i’m including this
Raspberry lime spindriff and this one is also a very good one those are the two flavors that i’ve tried so far i really want to find the mango one okay now on to thursday we are going to be making deviled eggs so here i am hard boiling eggs in my instant pot and
I’m going to have a video all about all the things that i love using my instapot for very soon i’m currently working on it so stay tuned for that make sure you hit that subscribe button now i just did a little yogurt parfait we’re just putting some spinach in the
Bottom and putting some radishes as a side of course with ranch because we love ranch around here and then i’m going to be making the inside filling for the deviled eggs so it’s just some red onions some of the yolks obviously and some mayo dijon mustard salt and pepper some
Horseradish apple cider vinegar and i’m using some fresh parsley I’m gonna fill up these eggs and then we’re gonna top it with some fresh parsley some paprika and there’s the avocado ranch that i got ready for his veggies which it looks like i also put cucumbers i forgot about that all right friday we’re on the last lunch
This lunch we’re actually making a curry chicken salad and i actually have the chicken thighs in the instapot i just forgot to show that part so they’re in then spots so that way they could be shredded i’m doing raisins a chopped up apple some celery we’re also doing some fresh chopped cilantro
Some red onion and then in a cast iron pan i’m just toasting some chopped almonds and some coconut and this is definitely a step that you don’t want to miss because it makes them so fragrant and so delicious we’re gonna add that all together and then we’re gonna make a little
Dressing sauce thing so out of homemade mayo and a bunch of different spices so garlic powder salt and pepper ginger curry cumin coriander red pepper flakes and some lime juice stir that on up and you can add that to your chicken salad and save a little bit for your salad if
You actually are you know making a salad out of it i went and put it in the squeeze bottle that i got from target for a dollar yeah i picked up a couple of them and i’m so glad because who knows if i’ll ever see them there again
Then i’m just chopping up some carrots for this salad i just use my little squiggle thing again some very slicely thinned cucumber because you know we need it and then i added the chicken thighs which i forgot to film and some sliced kiwi i hope you guys enjoyed this video
Make sure you stay tuned for week two of whole30 bento box lunches and i will see you guys very soon
