Ponk/Sorghum salad chat

Ingredients

1 cup fresh sorghum (paunkh)
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1 cucumber, chopped
1/2 Raw mango
2 tbsps roasted peanuts, peeled
2 tbsps fresh pomegranate pearls (optional)
1-2 green chillies, chopped (as per your taste)
1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
A large pinch of roasted cumin powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp moth beans (matki) sprouts(optional)
2 tbsp green gram (sabut moong) sprouts(optional)
½ lemon
Tamarind chutney
green chutney
yogurt (optional)

To serve
coriander, sev ,chat papadi for garnished

Method

1. Take steamed pauk in a large bowl, add onion,Raw mango, tomato, cucumber, peanuts, pomegranate pearls, green chillies, coriander leaves, roasted cumin powder, salt and squeeze the juice of lemon and mix well.

2.Garnished Some Coriander,Sev and Chat Papadi.
