Hi, I’m Healthy Emmie! My parent, known as Healthy Mummy and Healthy Dad, went on a whole-food plant based diet back in 2015 and 2016. They were in their late 50s at the time. Now, in their mid-60s, they’re rocking the #SlimOnStarch lifestyle. My dad went from obese to a healthy weight, and my mom lowered her cholesterol and lost weight after menopause. Will have cookies that the neighbor baked whatever and around the holiday season that happens more often so weight creeps up a little bit but then January comes and weight goes back down and then the summer comes and weight goes back down so healthy normal fluctuations of in the five pound range are completely

Normal they’re a natural part of life and what’s most important is that you have the strong foundation and you you’re able to catch it and you get right back to what makes you feel good why don’t you each choose three words to sum up 2023 exhausting mortality related I think

Commitment is a good one because we we’re both committed to our exercise and our diets all right I would say um blessed I think we’re pretty blessed you know we have a nice home we have a great great family um we really have nothing to complain about so I would say blessed

I would say um joy we had a lot of Joy this year you know one of our kids got married that’s a huge accomplishment and something that we’re just so happy about and growth I think we’ve grown a lot we’ve learned a lot things have changed
