Healthy Veg Lollipop Recipe | Veg Snacks Recipe | How to Make Veg Lollipop at Home | Easy Starter

Ingredients: (1 cup = 200 ml)
2 Tbsp Besan/Chickpea flour/Gram flour- roasted.
1 Tbsp Oil
2 Medium size onions – finely chopped
1 Inch Ginger-finely chopped
2 Green Chillies- finely chopped
¼ Cup Capsicum- finely chopped
½ Cup Crushed Sweet Corn
½ Cup Crushed Green Peas
½ Cup Carrot – finely chopped
1 Tsp Salt (adjust as per salt)
1 Tsp Chaat Masala
½ Tsp Jeera/Cumin Powder
½ Tsp Garam Masala powder
½ Tsp Red Chilli flakes
3 Medium size Potatoes – boiled & grated.
½ Cup Grated Cheese/Paneer
Corn Flour Slurry:
¼ Cup Corn Flour
Little water to make a slurry.
1 Cup Bread Crumbs
Oil for shallow frying.
Once you have shaped the lollipops and coated with the corn flour slurry and rolled well in the bread crumbs
Keep them in fridge for 1 hour or ½ Hour in freezer. This will make the coating stick to the lollipops and also make them crispy.
You can fry them directly from the fridge till golden brown.
Serve hot with ketchup or Green Mint Chutney

Hi and welcome back to gin’s Creation today at gin’s creation we’ll be making some healthy vegge lollipops you can also make some vegge fingers with the same recipe so let’s get started with the recipe I’ll start by heating a pan and adding 2 tbsp of basin or chickpea flour
Also known as gr flour I will dry roast this gr flour for 2 minutes on medium Flame the roasted gr flour is going to add some flavor and some binding to the veg lollipops so after finish roasting this I’ll just room it out and keep it
Aside again in the same pan just wipe it and add 1 tbsp of oil once the pan and the oil is nicely heated I’ll be adding two finely chopped onions I have taken two mediumsized onions for this and I’ll just fry this onion for about a minute
Minute we do not have to make the onions completely soft just a little for a minute is fine after frying this onion for a minute I’ll be adding two finely chopped green chilies and 1 in of finely chopped Ginger you’ll find the recipe with all the ingredients in the description box
Below so don’t forget to check in there too after cooking the chili and the ginger for another minute I’ll be adding some vegetables into it this is qu cup of finely chopped capsicum next I’ll be adding half a cup of crushed corn just taking some fresh
Corn and just put it in the blender and just pulse it for a second also I’ll be adding half a cup of crush green peas I have done the same for the green peas too I’ve taken some half a cup of frozen green peas and just pulse it in
The mixer grinder for a few seconds we do not have to make a piece out of it you have to just keep it thick and little chunky next I’ll be adding half a cup of finely chopped carrots too now I’ll just stir fry all these veggies on medium flame for about 2
Minutes if you like cauliflower you could add crushed cauliflower too into this now all the veggies have been fried nicely for about 2 minutes and now I’ll be adding some spices into it I have taken 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of chat Masala half a teaspoon of jira or
Cumin powder and half a teaspoon of garam masala powder I have also added half a teaspoon of red chili flakes add all the spices and give it a quick stir I’ll just stir fry these veggies on medium flame for 2 minutes once this is done we’ll proceed with the next
Step next I have taken three mediumsized potatoes which are boiled and grated now into this we’ll be adding the vegetables which we had just stir fried to make it even more tasty and more appealing to Children I’ll be adding half a cup of grated cheese and the Basin that we had just
Roasted adding the grated cheese is completely optional and you can even substitute it for some grated paneer so after adding all the ingredients you have to just make sure that everything is mixed well so now I have finished mixing this and now let’s make the veg lollipops to make the veg lollipops I’ll
Be using these ice cream sticks I have just washed them a little so to make the veg lollipop just take a portion of the mix that we had just prepared and I’ve just applied a little oil to my hands so that mixture doesn’t stick to my
Hands I’ll just give it an oval shape and just insert the stick 3/4 inside push it into the center so that it doesn’t poke out from the sides so we’ll be shaping all of it in the similar way and keeping it ready later on we’ll be dipping it into
A dipping mixture and and some breadcrumbs to make it nice and crispy from outside these vegge lollipops are a great party appetizers and it is also a yummy recipe for kids so you can easily serve these as a wed starters for your Gatherings too you can also customize this recipe
And add veggies of your choice so I’ll continue making some of these in this shape and also I’ll be showing you some to make them without the sticks like vegge fingers so I made some of these veg lollipops and I’ll keep them aside and show you how to make the vegge
Fingers for the vegge fingers just grab a little of the mixture and press it and squeeze it so that it becomes tight and then make it into a long cylinder don’t make them very long a medium size is just enough 3 and 3 and 1/2 in is quite
Enough if you make it very long it becomes difficult to fry and also to hold while eating so I’ve just made a few of these wedge fingers so to make them crispy from outside we’ll be just doing a little coat for them for the dipping mixture I
Have taken qu cup of corn flour and I’ll just add little water to make it into a thick base since we are making this a bit healthy I’ve avoided taking MAA into it just mix the cornflour and the water till get a slurry out of it also be using one cup of
Breadcrumbs so first we just need to roll the lollipops into the cornflour mixture dip it well and then we’ll be rolling rolling it into the breadcrumbs these are homemade breadcrumbs and I have a video for it on how to make it so I’ll put the link in the description box
Below we will coat the lollipops well with the breadcrumbs I’ll be also pressing it lightly so that the breadcrumbs stick to it so this is how it would look after the Coatings have been done so continue doing the rest of it in the same way only make sure that the corn flour
Dip is not too very thin if it is too thin the breadcrumbs will not stick to it and you won’t get a nice crispy coating after they are fried so coat the lollipops well with the dip and the breadcrumbs and I’ll continue doing this for the rest of
It you need to keep mixing the cornflour paste as it settles down I’ll be coating the vegge fingers too in the same way these are little bit bit delicate so you have to be a little careful while rolling them besides making them into a wedge lollipop or wedge fingers we can also
Use some Cutters and make them into various shapes once we have coated this all well we need to keep it in the fridge for at least 1 hour till it is nice and firm you can also keep them in the freezer for a longer time and then just fry them
Whenever you want make sure that these lollipops are well chill and nice and firm before they are being fried I’ll be shallow frying the lollipops so I heated a pan and added sufficient oil in it for shallow frying them if you are in a hurry you can keep
This lollipop in the freezer for half an hour and then shallow fry them and now when the oil is hot I’ll just drop few at the time and keep turning them and cooking them on all sides I’ll keep the flame on medium this is just going to take around
2 to 3 minutes to get a nice brown color on all sides avoid deep frying this veg lollipops as they are delicate and might break the shallow fry is the best option for this so once they get a nice brown color we can take them out of the pan and
Place it on a kitchen absorbent paper as we have already cooked all the vegetables before this does not require much time in frying so now I will continue frying the rest of it and also be frying the vegge fingers in the same way these vegge lollipops are best when
