GREEN MOONG DAL & WHEAT FLOUR DOSA makes for a very healthy and filling recipe for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is a South Indian dish and is popularly known as Pesarattu. The Pesarattu recipe usually has rice flour but today I tried an innovative idea and replaced the rice flour with wheat flour which made the Dosa very crispy and yummy. This dosa recipe does not need the extra time for fermentation. However, you need the green moong to be soaked overnight or for atleast 4 to 6 hours. If you have green gram flour available then you can mix both the green gram flour and wheat flour and keep the batter aside for atleast 2 hours before making the Dosa. Some people also call it Cheela or Chilla. Green moong Cheela or green moong Chilla.

I have seen many videos of Instant dosa, green moong dosa, green moong cheela, wheat flour dosa, Pesarattu, green gram dal cheela or chilla on YouTube in various languages like english, hindi, marathi, tamil, kannada, malayalam, telugu, gujarati, odia, bengali, punjabi, urdu etc. and although I did not understand all the languages the Dosa videos were all very interesting and I got to learn many different ways of cooking the green moong dosa.
