Hey guys I’m Nisa Homey, today I’m sharing how to  make soft raggi Roti also known as raggi chapati   this raggi Roti does not contain any Wheat it  is made with 100% raggi raggi is also known as

Finger Millet and it is completely glutenfree so  let’s get started with the recipe to make raggi or   finger Millet Ro into a saucepan I’m adding in  one cup of water turn on the flame add in pink

Himalayan salt as needed and allow this to come to  a boil and once the water boils reduce the flame   to the lowest and then add in one cup sprouted  ragi flour let it stay like this for about 5

To 10 seconds and then turn off the flame and  with the back of a wooden spoon give it a good mix and once mixed cover it with the lid and let it  stay like this 2 to 3 minutes later open the lid

And transfer it to another plate now this is  slightly warm but not too hot to handle and   now I’m adding in little water into my hand and  I’m just sprinkling the water onto the dough and

With wet hand i’m kneading it into a soft dough  the dough is slightly warm but not too hot to   handle again I’m sprinkling in little water  and with wet hand i’m kneading it into a soft dough and once nicely Ned it will not even  stick to the plate into this I’m adding in

Half a teaspoon ET to deci ghee and I’m mixing  it really well into the dough raggi is one of the   very few natural sources of vitamin D vitamin D is  a fat soluble vitamin so for better assimilation

Of vitamin D you need a good source of healthy  fats like wood press oils or a to DEC ghee now   instead of a to Dei ghee you can use any wood  pressed o oil of your choice healthy fats are

Needed to help with better assimilation of fat  soluble vitamins like vitamin A K E and D so a   good source of healthy fat is a must when you  are using raggi for better assimilation of fat

Soluble vitamin like vitamin D in the raggi for  those who are new to raggi raggi or finger Millet   is a whole grain and it is completely gluten-free  raggi is rich in fiber and the high fiber helps

To keep you feel Fuller for a long longer time and  thus it helps in weight loss and weight management   and once it is kned into a soft dough divide it  into equal sized portions raggi is packed with

Calcium good carbs amino acids and vitamin D ragi  has a good amount of iron that’s ideal for those   with iron deficiency anemia once raggi is sprouted  the vitamin C Level tends to increase and leads to   easy absorption of iron into the bloodstream and  now it’s ready to roll into ragy Roy I’m placing

The small dough ball onto the work surface and  before rolling it into a round Roti what I’m   doing is I’m again kneading the dough so this step  is very important only if you need it a couple of

Times just before you roll it into Roti the Roti  will roll out without having any cracks into a   round shape so you need to do this process with  each dough ball just before rolling it out into

A round Ry you just need to roll it a couple of  times over the work surface I’m sprinkling in some   sprouted raggy flour and I’m coating it with the  sprouted ragy flour and I’m lightly pressing it down flipping it over and  again lightly pressing it

Down and with a rolling pin  I’m rolling it into a round Ry this is a very easy method of making ragy  Roti even a beginner can easily make this and   enjoy a filling and healthy Roti which is  ideal for breakfast lunch or for dinner see

How easily you can roll the ragy Roti into a  round shape and once it is rolled out into a   nice nice round thin RTI you just need to dust  off excess flour from the ragi Roti place the

Roti onto a hot castan tawa and once small  bubble starts to come on top carefully flip it over and you can see that the  Roti starts to Puff almost immediately with a cotton cloth  I’m just slightly pressing it down flip it over

Again and once both sides are  done dle in a little bit of the ghee and transfer to a plate just  dust off the excess flow from the Tava let’s roll one more Roy so before rolling  it make sure you are kneading the small dough

Ball a couple of times on the work surface do not  skip this process this step is highly important   to make a smooth and round raggi Roti sprinkle  sprout ragy flour and make sure the dough ball

Is nicely coated with the raggi flour and roll  into a round rooty you can see how easy it is   to roll into a round Ry this ragy roty is an  ideal meal for those with health issues like

Pcod diabetes and for those who are on a weight  loss journey and once nicely rolled just dust   off the excess flow from the rolled out Roy  and place it onto the hot tawa and let it

Cook on that side for about 10 to 15 seconds or  until you start seeing small bubbles coming on   top and now flip this over and you can see the  Roti starts to puff up almost immediately dle

In a little bit of DIY ghee and spread it over  the puffed up raggi Roti do not skip adding a   good source of healthy fat and once done remove  to a plate and repeat the same thing with the

Rest of the roties and my raggi Roti is ready  to serve you can see how soft the raggi Roti is you can enjoy this raggi Roti with any side dish  of your choice as a meal for breakfast lunch or

Dinner let me just show you how soft the ragi  Roti is so guys do try this healthy raggi Roti   recipe and let me know how it turned out today I’m  sharing two easy ways to make raggi Roti making

Raggi Roti is very easy and it takes just under to  10 minutes to make ragi Roti you can enjoy raggi   Roti for breakfast lunch or dinner with any side  dish of your choice let’s get started with the   recipe I have already chopped one mediumsized  onion a handful of coriander leaves one

Mediumsized carrot which I have grated 1 teaspoon  grated Ginger two green chilies finely chopped   green chilies you can increase or decrease to suit  your taste one spring of Curry leaves into a bowl   I’m adding adding in 1 and 1/2 cups of raggi flour  raggi is also known as finger Millet and Nach in

Hindi add in pink Himalayan salt as needed two  fat pinches of jira also known as cumin seeds 1/4   teaspoon turmeric powder a big fat pinch of black  pepper powder when you’re using turmeric try to   add at least a pinch of black pepper powder for  better assimilation of turmeric I’m just lightly

Mixing this up raggi is a whole grain and it is  glutenfree it is rich in fiber and helps in weight   loss and it is an excellent diabetic friendly food  it is packed with calcium good carbs amino acids   and vitamin D add in the ginger grated Ginger  grated carrot chopped coriander leaves chopped

Onion and green chilies adding the fresh Curry   leaves so I’m just tearing  the curry leaves and adding in curry leaves are a good source  of iron and folate hence I prefer   to use them in my recipes however if  you don’t have fresh Curry leaves at

Hand you can totally omit it  mix this really well with your hand add in one cup of hot boiling water little by  little let’s mix this well so this is hot boiling water and once it has cooled down lightly mix

It so the dough is of a spreadable  consistency to make the first method   I’m taking a ball-sized dough and  I’m just rolling it in my hand like this sprinkle some water on the  Banana Leaf and place the D on   the center and with wet hands  flatten the Roy into a round

Circle flatten it as thinly as possible and make   sure you wet your fingers to flatten it  out otherwise the r will stick to your hand and now make a small intention in the center   I have heated my cast ir and tawa  and I’m greasing it with gingerly

Oil now reduce the flame to  the lowest place the Banana   Leaf Rooty side down onto the hot cast  iron towa let it stay there for about 30 seconds and then slowly peel off the Banana Leaf dresser little wood pressed  coconut oil in the center and on the

Sides now for the better absorption of  fat soluble vitamin like vitamin D you   need a good source of healthy fat like DIY  ghee or wood pressed oils cover and let it   cook on low flame after about 2 minutes  let’s open the lid and carefully flip it over

And allow it to cook on that side as well  healthy fat also helps to reduce the glycemic   index so do not skip using healthy fat in  your diet after about 2 minutes flip it over again and healthy raggi Roti is ready to serve  now to make the second method I’m placing a cast

Iron Tava on the stove top and I’m not heating  the stove without heating the stove I’m adding   in 1 teaspoon wood pressed coconut oil on the  towa and with my hand I’m just greasing the towa take a ball-sized dough  and roll it in your hand like

This and place it on the center of  the ctin tawa now dip your hand in water and spread the Roti into  a round circle as thinly as possible make sure you’re spreading with the  wet fingers or else the Roy will stick to

Your hand this is a very easy and simple way  to make raggi Roti you can enjoy this Roti   for breakfast lunch or for dinner and with  this recipe you can make four raggi roties   so once it has spread into a round circle  make a small intention in the center and

Then turn on the gas stove dle in little bit  of fot brushed coconut oil in the center and   on the sides and in the middle middle as well  cover and let it cook on low flame for about

2 to 2 and 1/2 minutes after about 2 minutes  open the lid and carefully flip it over now   another important thing is you should use a  well seasoned castan Tava or else the Roti   may stick to the tawa so since my castan Tava  is well seasoned the Roy will not stick to the

Tawa so just flip it over and let it cook this side as well  after about another 2 minutes flip it over again and my quick easy and healthy raggi  Roti is ready to serve ragi Roti is very

Soft and you can enjoy it with the Chutney  or any size dish or even pickle so guys do   try this recipe and let me know which is  your favorite method of making gry Roti   do comment below and let me know thank you for  watching and until next time take care bye-bye
