Healthy Chocolate Brownie Banana Bread Recipe – How to Make Chocolate Banana Bread with Almond Flour

Here is a yummy healthy chocolate banana bread recipe to try! This bread is grain free and gluten free and is perfect for all my chocolate lovers out there!

Ingredients needed:

3 ripe bananas
3 eggs
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups almond flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Prep loaf pan. ( I used 9×5 loaf pan) You can use parchment paper or spray with nonstick cooking spray (or both).
3. In a large bowl, mash the 3 ripe bananas.
4. Mix together the mashed bananas, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla extract with a whisk.
5. Add in the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined.
6. Add/ fold in the dark chocolate chips.
7. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Add a few chocolate chips on top if desired.
8. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes, until a fork or toothpick comes out clean in the middle of the bread.
9. Cool bread for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to wire rack to finish cooling completely.
10. Cut into slices and enjoy!!
