Healthy homemade truffles
I started making healthy desserts at home.
These sweets are made without sugar, oil and flour.

Ingredients:

• 200g dried dates
• 100g raw cashews
• 2 teaspoons raw cocoa powder
• 2 teaspoons agave syrup (or maple syrup)

Preparation:

1. Place the cashews in a blender and pulse until they become crumbly.
2. Add the dates and cocoa powder, blend again until combined.
3. Add the agave syrup (or maple syrup). If your dates are a bit dry, you can add a bit more syrup to help the mixture hold its shape.
4. Shape the mixture into balls.
5. Roll the balls in cocoa powder and coconut flakes.
6. Store the treats in a sealed container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

You can substitute cocoa powder with carob powder. Additionally, you can decorate the treats with ground nuts or sesame seeds.
