tonight on ghost host kitchen we are
going to be making a chocolate chip
chocolate sorbet now this is a Weight
Watchers recipe and it all starts with
some
sugar now we’re going to put this sugar
into a pan on our stove and add water to
it we’re going to bring that to a
boil and then we’re going to mix the
sugar and water until the sugar is
completely
dissolved add to that our cocoa powder
and then we’re also going to add some
miniature chocolate
chips this is going to create a very
rich sorbet mixture and you’re going
to whisk this until the cocoa powder is
all dissolved and the chips are melted
then you’re going to strain this through
a fine mesh
strainer now chocolate chips don’t
always fully dissolve but you you want
your mix to be very smooth you want your
sorbet to be very smooth so putting your
cocoa mix through a strainer will get
those hard parts of the chips that don’t
dissolve out of there at this point
you’re going to want to add some vanilla
and then you’re going to want to cool
your mix now you can simply let it set
out on the counter or you can place your
bowl of mix into an ice bath leave it
there for about 30 minutes and then get
ready to refrigerate it cover it with
some plastic wrap put it in a
refrigerator at least at least 3 hours
preferably overnight and then you’re
going to pour it into your ice cream
maker according to manufacturer’s
instructions we’re using a ninja creamy
in that you have one pint containers
that you pour your mix in go ahead and
put that in the freezer and then run it
through the creamy according to the
manufacturer settings and you’ll get a
nice sorbet out you can sprinkle some
more chocolate chips on the top of this
for a little extra flavor but that’s all
there is to it if you’ve got the time
you can make a wonderful substitute for
ice cream where a single serving of it
has less than 200 calories and you’ll
get your chocolate fix thanks for
watching we appreciate you joining us at
