What My Children Eat in a Day | Healthy and Simple Meals
I’m a homeschooling mom, so my days are busy! I try to feed my children healthy and balanced meals throughout the day. Today, we went off of the menu a little, but that’s okay because our menus are created to be flexible.
Making mealtime enjoyable and involving your children in preparing and planning the food can foster a positive relationship with nutritious foods. We are here to lay the foundation for our children’s long-term health and well-being. You got this, mama!

CAST IRON SKILLET NACHOS @lodgecastiron
INGREDIENTS –
1 Bag of Siete Tortilla Chips @sietefoods
6 Pounds of Ground Beef, Browned
1 Packet of Siete Taco Seasoning
4 Cups Corn
1 Can of Black Beans
1 Can of Kidney Beans
1 Red Onions, Chopped
3 Cups Grass-Fed Cheese, Shredded @kerrygoldusa
Toppings:
TOPPINGS –
Tomatoes, chopped
Lettuce, chopped
Sour Cream (mixed with additional Taco Seasoning) @sietefoods
Salsa
Lime
Cilantro
METHOD –
1. Preheat the Oven to 400°F.
2. While the Oven preheats, prepare the ingredients. Start by browning the ground beef. Once the meat is browned, drain off excess grease, add a package of taco seasoning, and mix well.
3. Set the ground beef aside, shred your cheese, and cut your vegetables.
4. Now, let’s start layering. Start with a layer of chips on the bottom, followed by ground beef, corn, cheese, black beans, kidney beans, and more cheese. Keep layering until you reach the top.
5. Sprinkle the top with cheese and bake for 10 – 15 mins or until cheese is melted.
6. Remove from oven and serve warm! Sprinkle with red onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream. Enjoy
Thank you so much for being here and spending a piece of your day with me! Your love and support does not go unnoticed!
Peace, Joy, and Blessings! Pamela!
