my good morning and happy Friday it’s
been a crazy busy week of school first
week back since my break so school’s
been kind of whipping me in the butt
this week
but Monday through Thursday I have
school in person and I have quite the
commute so I’m up and out the door by
5:30 um super long days so I come home
make dinner that being said Fridays I
have school online which is honestly
such a treat it feels like I have like a
little bit of a long weekend and if you
have gone through nursing school you
understand the load of work you have um
and how intense it is so I feel like
just having Fridays online really helps
with um avoiding the burnout that comes
along with
school that being said this morning I
went to the gym I had my first class
online I also prepped my sourdough
Bagels so I’m really excited to bake
those the dough is rising right now so
I’ll bake them a little bit later I feel
like I’m just in this era of making
everything from scratch and it’s just
super wholesome and nourishing to me but
I just love being in the kitchen there’s
something so therapeutic about cooking
and baking that I just absolutely love
so while the rest of the dough is rising
I have quite a few errands to run it’s a
beautiful sunny day so we’re going to
kick the weekend off get it off to a
good start and I’ll see you later

like this color is so fun in the
summertime and then I love the Contour
bodysuits from aritzia so just threw on
one of those um with my Levis and some
little sandals but I’m just going to
head out and run a few
errands I came to the mall for my
airpods but dangerously I knew I would
end up
shopping got nothing else to do and
nothing else to lose and I’m B for this

that I’ve driven all over the planet
today but I went to therapy I went to
the
chiropractor and I went to the local
seafood store so I placed an order um
for some wildau hbet so I picked that up
because I’ll keep it in the freezer and
just defrost it as needed what else did
I do oh I had to get a whole new set of
airpods which I was not planning on
doing but basically the new case that I
ordered didn’t match um the airpods that
I had
um and then they needed like an IP
address and all these things so I ended
up just returning the case and
purchasing complete new set of airpods
so I did that and then I did a little
bit of damage in aritzia as well um but
my counseling session today was honestly
phenomenal I’ve been going to therapy
for about 3 4 years now um I go once a
month or every 2 weeks just depending on
how I’m feeling that month um and I’ll
really talk about anything but recently
I’ve been really working on regulating
my tolerance and um my nervous system so
basically me and my counselor kind of
discovered that um with all the stress
of like school and other things like
day-to-day deadlines family and
everything that life comes with my
tolerance was just so low that I was
feeling burnt out by like the slightest
of little things that like like
shouldn’t make you feel burnt out so I’m
a very regimented person and anything
outside of that would make me feel so
disregulated and throw me off so we’re
working on building tolerance right now
and doing things that make me feel
uncomfortable and um I was able to share
like a ton of wins with her this session
which felt really really good and she
makes me sit in the feelings so if it’s
an uncomfortable feeling you sit in it
for 30 seconds so your body can
recognize the feeling and for it to
fully pass but same thing about positive
things and she asked me today what did
you feel and I was like this time I feel
nothing and I never really realized that
feeling nothing is also a feeling
because if you’re constantly feeling
anxious or um negative emotions you
don’t realize when you feel nothing that
that’s it’s actually a positive thing
and that you’ve really worked through it
so yeah that was just a little win from
today so yeah I am I’m feeling good but
I still have a few more stops I need to
get gas and everything and it’s already

418 so um and I have to go to the
grocery store as well to get some things
for dinner still haven’t made my Bagels
so my dough is probably like bursting
out of the bow um but yes got to get a
move on and get
home but she so more drinks than she
knows shouldn’t be surprised she’s
gone she’s like walking country
s everybody told me she’ leave my heart
broken and I tried to prove home

Hest good morning I just got to the gym
it is
7:09 so I don’t set an alarm on the
weekends but I do wake up naturally very
early because I wake up at 4:30 during
the week so the weekend’s like 5:45 is
sleeping for me um so I’m just going to
do a workout let’s see what my workout
is
today yesterday I did back and arms a
poll day um so it looks like today is
glutes and hamstrings so going to do a
little
workout and then I’m going to go home
shower make some breakfast and I since I
did most of my errands yesterday I have
a few hours this morning so I’ll
probably walk to sabba which is my
favorite Cafe and study for a couple
hours then I did book a Manny Petty
appointment at 3:00 today I’ll see if I
feel like going um I do need my my nails
done but I’m also meeting my best
friends tonight for sushi so I haven’t
seen them since before Mexico it’s been
quite a while so I’m excited to catch up
with them um but yeah I’m just going to
go do a little workout recently um my
current workout routine is only 3 days a
week which is fine um I used to go 5
days a week Monday to Friday when I was
working full-time in the clinic but
since starting full-time nursing school
I am at school all week long and I start
at 8:00 a.m. till 3:30 every day and I’m
already waking up at like 4:30 leaving
the house by
6:30 so I just don’t want to get up any
earlier and jeopardize my sleep so 3
days a week is plenty enough and that
way I’m able to just enjoy my workouts
take it slow and easy go when I want um
yeah so we’re going to go do a little
workout and today should be a really
good day

just walked from the house to the
grocery store I’m walking to savba to go
study for a couple hours I’m going to
grab my favorite cookie and a coffee but
I had to stop here at the grocery store
on the way because I don’t like using
any of the artificial sweeteners in my
coffee but I do like a little bit of
sweetener in my coffee so that being
said I grab this one
here
the monk fruit so um it’s not like a
Splenda which is not good for you um I
don’t really love the taste of stevia
but this monk fruit in the golden one
specifically I absolutely love and I
just keep these little packages like in
my car or in my backpack
um and carry them around with me so that
I don’t have to use any artificial
sweeteners I feel so grateful every day
that I live in such a cutie little town
me and the girls are actually coming
here for sushi tonight so I’ll walk down
here but I’m just going to go to Saba
and study for a couple of hours

was there for like 4 and 1/2 hours
actually and now it’s already 2:35 I
have my manicure and pedicure at 300
p.m. so I got a boogie but I was
starving so I needed to come home and
make a quick lunch so I’m just throwing
together some of the stuff we had
prepped in the the fridge just some
chicken coconut rice broccoli avocado
and my favorite organic Pickled ginger
so I’m just going to scarf this down
really quick and head to my nail

nails done I get the same shade every
time it’s just super plain really classy
but anytime I get a color I instantly
regret it so I just stick to what I know
and keep it nice and basic

good morning Vlog happy Sunday my camera
ended up dying yesterday after my nail
appointment but I just met my
girlfriends for sushi for dinner and
then we did a little walk and the girls
grabbed gelato just a really nice night
catching up with my best friends I miss
them so much I haven’t seen them in age
is so it was a really nice catchup but
I’ve just had a really slow Sunday
morning I had my coffee did some
journaling went to the gym Poppy and I
went on a little walk and now I’m just
here having breakfast on the floor
watching I’m going to watch some YouTube
but I have oh man it’s already
10:18 and I have lunch with my grandma
mom and Auntie today um at like 12:30 so
we’re going to do that and then I have a
ton of meal prepping to do today getting
ready for the week Sundays are my
favorite day of the week they are
supposed to be slow with no plans go
with the flow but also prep me for my
week so I’ll make some coconut rice
probably like some chicken or salmon and
then some sort of Veggie that I have and
I’ll take that for lunch all week for
school
but I have two exams this week so um
it’s going to be a busy week ahead and
then I also want to make some of my
salted honey almond bars um because I
ate all my cookies so I’m going to need
a little dessert sweet treat for the
week so I’ll prep those as
well and yeah just dinner with the
family tonight but we’re going to take
it easy and go with the flow

I am just prepping my salted almond
honey date bars for the week so I put
some organic oats vegan dark chocolate
chips some almonds which I’ll grind up
as well as some organic pitted dates
some molden salt for garnish coconut oil
almond butter and then I use this uh raw
unpack pasturized organic Manuka honey
in them um and my little hack is I do it
on the scale so that I don’t have to
dirty any um measuring cups because all
these are so sticky so it gets tricky to
clean everything and I just write all of
my recipes in a Google doc and I’m
keeping it of course for my upcoming
cookbook but I’m going to prep these
then I can throw them in the freezer and
they’ll be ready for tonight and the
week but going to get a go on those

so my granola base is done and the only
tricky part about this recipe is
pressing the granola base into the pan
but then you just drizzle over your
coconut and dark chocolate and then
garnish with sea salt and store it in
the freezer other than literally the
this bowl this is completely mess-free
and the easiest recipe ever it is also
like my favorite thing in the entire
world so just going to press these down
and then throw them in the freezer while
I um go finish getting ready for

lunching these down into the pen is a
workout in it
oh my
gosh it’s so worth it though so worth it

off to lunch and it’s a bit chilly today
so I just threw on this knit sweater
some denim form jeans and my little Uggs
to stay nice and cozy warm say hi G
kids are grandma Yeah say hello hello
she almost just 23 this
year he’s live building his own dog
house just picking up a few things from
the grocery store for dinner but came
across this guy here sounds so good and
it’s popped in uh avocado oil love just
got home from lunch in the grocery store
I threw on my skim sweatsuit immediately
this is my favorite but I don’t know
what’s gotten into me today but I am
just like absolutely exhausted like so
fatigued it started downpouring so it’s
definitely like cozy Vibes but this week
is kind of catching up with me and the
weekend has been a little bit busy as
well so I’m just going to go lay on the
couch until dinner and just do
absolutely nothing and just relax before
another week of craziness

Moon I just got cozied into bed I’m
going to end the Vlog off here but I was
listening to a podcast today and it was
talking about how you should do
something warm before bed like a warm
bath a shower a sauna something like
that because it actually dilates your
blood vessels and sends your blood to
all of your extremities cooling your
internal body temperature down so that’s
why they say you want to sleep in like a
really cold room um because it helps get
you into your first wave of sleep during
your cycle so by sending all your blood
to your extremities it’s cooling your
torso down which you want before sleep
and it also in the podcast it was
talking about how you should eat your
last meal 3 hours before bed because um
you don’t want your body to be like
highly functioning and trying to digest
as you’re going to sleep otherwise
you’re not going to get proper deep
sleep so what time is it now it is
8:10 and I’m already in bed but I’m a
grandma we know that I have to get up
tomorrow at 4:45 for school so I’m going
to end the Vlog off here but I hope you
