[Music] today’s recipe is a very exciting veg kti roll recipe also commonly known as veg Frankie roll but I would like to call it as a weight loss roll because this is low in carbs loaded with fiber and it’s high on protein all of 145 calories only welcome to my kitchen diet recipes by Natasha moan so first I’m going to take about half a teaspoon of oil in a nonstick pan and then I’m I’m going to throw in 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds once it crackles then I’m going to add some onions chopped tomatoes and some chopped capsicum just going to saute it for a bit and then I’m going to throw in some peas which are already cooked and some corn now these provide essential minerals also they are good because they reduce inflammation in the body and they’re loaded with vitamin C and B notes that they aid in digestion and they also control your blood sugar levels then I I’m going to add 10 G of paneer also commonly known as cottage cheese now this is a very rich source of protein and of course I’m using paneer which is made of low fat milk now I’ve roughly chopped it into very small cubes because eventually this is going to form the filling of my wrap so this is a perfect gluten-free recipe which can also be used as a kids lunchbox recipe and of course if you’re on a keto diet you can obviously use it as a keto roll recipe for your diet plan then I’m going to give it a quick stir while the flame is still on high and then add in a few regular spices like salt coriander powder and red chili powder now the good thing about this recipe is that it’s absolutely glutenfree and it is thyroid friendly PCOS friendly it is low in fat and it is also suitable for people suffering from diabetes or if they have cholesterol or high blood pressure plus this is also a high protein recipe which is rich in fiber all in all it’s a winner recipe now I’m going to sprinkle in some chopped coriander give it a quick stir and keep the filling to cool now it’s time to start on the wrap so here I’m taking about 30 G of red lentils which have been soaked overnight now this is a very good source of protein and it’s beneficial for your teeth and bones because it’s loaded with calcium magnesium and zinc and it’s loaded with vitamin C B6 and B2 so it’s definitely good for your digestion and excellent for your skin then I’m going to add a pinch of salt mix it well and grind it all to a fine paste now the thing you have to keep in mind while grinding it to a fine paste is not to add any excess water at all because we need it to fluff it up just like a regular pancake would and that will only happen if you keep the water content to its minimum so as you can see no water added and now it’s time to grind so finally it’s done and look at the pretty color it’s changed from a dark pink to a light peach color just look how pretty it is now it’s time to cook it now I’m going to lightly base a pan with some olive oil and as you can see I’m actually using the olive oil very sparingly because I personally believe if you don’t need that much of oil then why use it I’ve often seen people using tons and tons of oil with just cooking one vegetable and that is the absolutely wrong practice to do now I’m going to lightly drop in the mixture into the pan a Big Blob right in the center of the pan and then I’m going to start spreading it evenly from the center outwards as you can see you have to be very careful CU I don’t want to roll it too thin because I want it still to retain texture and maintain the same fluffiness which I’ve managed to get in while grinding it so slowly and steadily I’m going to spread it to the corners while retaining the circular shape so if I had to guide you through to the perfect texture of this weight loss roll I would suggest you roll it out just like a pancake and not like a crep because crep is a very thin consistency and don’t forget this is a gluten-free roll so that’s why this will have no elasticity so make sure not to keep it too thin because otherwise when we put in the filling it’s all going to break so yeah after managed to Fiddle in my way to achieve that perfect round shape and not just that it’s almost cooked on the there will be a few naughty ones who are eventually going to escape but don’t worry keep rolling it slowly and steadily tightly enough and then finally you can secure it with a toothpick and voila
