now the reason you walk around with small ass shoulders is because you out here doing lateral raises that look like this this ain’t going to do for your shoulders but it’s all good cuz you know Popa pump got you and I’m about to put y’all on I know you want to look cool lifting heavy ass weight in the gym but if you’re doing lateral raises and you’re going up and then out you’re actually working your traps more than you’re working your shoulders so grab this lighter dumbbell instead now I know it’s not a lot of weight but you’re going to see a lot more gains when you do it right with a lighter weight than doing it wrong with a weight that’s too heavy for you now the first mistake I want you to focus on fixing is instead of going straight out like this I want you to bring the weight slightly inward just like this in this plane this is a lot more natural for your shoulders and you’re going to see more delt activation when you bring it up here as opposed to out here thing I want you to focus on is don’t lift your shoulders up we just want to act like we are reaching our hand as far as we can out towards the wall this is going to get a lot better delt activation and less trap activation and you’re going to be walking around with Boulder shoulders and that’s it so make sure you try this out the next time that you
