Easy ways to hit your calories if you’re struggling to gain weight 📈

I know some of you guys be adding oil to your smoothies, so here are some very easy ways to bump up your calories!

👉🏼 Cooking with oil and butter
– Fats is the highest calorie per gram so make use of these when making your food!
– Oil your pan when cooking protein
– Butter your bread
– Use oil based salad dressings
– Fat is flavour so get creative!

👉🏼 Swap out your low calorie alternatives
– Don’t forget about the normal calorie alternative you swapped out when you were in a deficit!
– Higher fat content protein
– Full fat and cream sauces and condiments
– Even your sugared drink alternatives can be a great one to get those calories up

👉🏼 Don’t miss your meals
– Making sure to have your meals on time is important so that you’re not stuck cramming calories in at the end of the day.
– My advice is to have your regular breakfast, lunch, and dinner with snacks inbetween. Simply doing this should make it far easier to hit your calories and will also ensure your meals aren’t so big that you’re not force feeding yourself to finish it!

👉🏼 Liquid calories are easier than solids
– Make high calorie shakes and smoothies!!
– If you want to keep it healthy, sure you can make a healthy smoothie. Otherwise, make yourself a delicious chocolate thickshake, add some protein in there if you need to, add some extra ice cream and milk. This should be more than enough that you shouldn’t have to put oil in it 😂
