“My family LOVES bread pudding, and this recipe is one that I have fine tuned to their taste. This recipe is proof-positive that leftover bread can easily be converted to dessert without much work.
There’s room for customization here: consider that I added fresh or dried fruit and a combination of spices like #cinnamon, #nutmeg, #clove and to make its colour more intense and dark I have used #DutchProcessed #cocoa powder. You may use on #natural #unsweetened #cocoapowder if you do not find dutch cocoa. However, here’s the link if you want to make it with it ( Amazon )

Ingredients (Makes 5 )
Fruits & Nuts
5 tbsp- Pista + Pine nuts
3/4 th cup- Fresh plum/ 1 plum
5 Tbsp- Sliced Almonds
3 Tbsp- Walnuts
4 Tbsp- Dried Cranberries
3 Tbsp- Tutti Fruity
4 Tbsp- Dried Strawberries
5 Tbsp- Black Raisin
3 tbsp- Honey
150 ml- Brandy / Apple Juice/ Orange Juice
70 ml- Dark Rum/ Fresh Fruit Juice
Note :- You may use only one kind of juice to soak the dry fruits.
If using juice to soak then keep them refrigerated for a day to soak .
Bread Pudding
5 Slices- Brown Bread
2/3 cup- Whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp- Unsweetened cocoa pwder
1 Tbsp- Dutch processed cocoa pwder
1/2 Tsp- Cinnamon pwder
1/2 Tsp- Clove pwdr
Big Pinch- Nutmeg Pwdr
1 Tsp -Baking Pwdr
1 Tbsp- Vanilla essence
5 Tbsp- Salted Butter
2/3 cup- Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp- Orange Zest
1/4th cup + 1.5 Tbsp- Buttermilk
