Oats are healthy & delicious . The consistency is like a porridge or pudding. It makes for an easy convenient breakfast . This recipe shows 2 ways of making oats more nutritious and tasty . Drink water and stay hydrated as chia seeds are high in fiber.
*For any special health conditions consult your doctor before including chia seeds or flax seeds in your diet.
Ingredients:
Oats
Butter
Honey
Vanilla essence
Curd
Chia seeds
Flax seeds
Fruits ( blueberry, strawberry, banana )
Nuts (Almonds & walnuts)
Method:
(For 2cups oatmeal) :
In a pan add 2Tbsp butter. Add 1 cup oats and sauté till the oats turn golden brown on slow flame . Add in 1 cup milk and let it simmer for 3 to 5min . Add honey to taste. Add a pinch of cinnamon (optional) . Delicious oatmeal is ready .
For blueberry oatmeal add in a mix of blended blueberry, curd, vanilla essence and honey . Top it with chopped almonds, flax seeds and blueberries.
To make chia seeds oatmeal, add 2Tbsp chia seeds when u add milk to the oats and simmer for 3 to 5 mins . Top it with any fruit like banana strawberry and some walnuts for that extra crunch !
