BANANA BREAD ENERGY BALLS
Ingredients:
-1 cup almond flour
-1/2 cup mashed banana (about 1 medium banana)
-1/4 cup nut butter of choice (I like cashew or almond, peanut works too, or soy for a nut-free option!)
-2 tbsp maple syrup
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 tsp nutmeg
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-pinch of salt
-3 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)
-1 tbsp raw cane sugar + 1/2 tsp cinnamon to roll (optional)
HOW TO:
Mash the banana. Add the wet ingredients to a bowl and mix. Then add the dry ingredients and mix together until it forms a dough. Add chocolate chips and roll into balls. Optionally roll in some cinnamon sugar. Place in the fridge to set for at least 1 hour. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
