Recipe for Homemade pizza sauce:
Ingredients
3 c. tomato puree not sauce, see Notes
1 t. extra virgin olive oil
1 large garlic clove minced
1 t. dried oregano
1 t. dried basil
1/2 t. dried thyme
1 t. fennel seeds
scant 1/2 t. salt
1 t. granulated sweetener
1/4 t. red pepper flakes
1 t. red wine or apple cider vinegar
Heat the oil in a saucepan.

Add the garlic, and saute just until fragrant (about 20 seconds).

Add in the rest of the ingredients (except for the vinegar).
Bring to a low bubble, and lower the heat to a simmer.

Cook for 10-15 minutes.

Remove from heat, and stir in the vinegar.
