These ultimate gingerbread cookies are a must-have Christmas treat! Plus, we’re using ghee instead of butter for a delicious twist on a classic recipe.
Ingredients:
• 250g – wholewheat flour (I use spelt)
• 1/2 tsp – baking soda
• 1tbsp – ginger powder
• 1 tsp – Christmas spice mix* (or you can add 1/4 tsp. of: fennel, pepper, star anise, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, anise powder)
• 70g – Ghee (or you can safely replace it with butter or any vegetable oil)
• 3 tbsp – black molasses
• 2 tbsp – sugar
• 1 egg
Baking: 160C/320F for 12-15 min
