Ingredients:

Soya chunks – 1 cup
Potatoes – 2 (medium, boiled and mashed)
Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
Green chilies – 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Gram flour (besan) – 2 tbsp

Spices:

Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – to taste
Oil – For shallow frying

Instructions:

1. Prepare Soya Chunks:

– Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 10 minutes.
– Squeeze out the excess water and grind them into a coarse mixture.

2. Make the Mixture:

In a large bowl, mix the ground soya chunks, mashed potatoes, chopped onions, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, and coriander leaves.

Add gram flour and all the spices. Combine well to form a dough-like consistency.

3. Shape the Kababs:

Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into flat round patties or long kabab shapes as per your preference.

4. Cook the Kababs:

Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Shallow fry the kababs until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.

5. Serve:

Serve hot with mint chutney, ketchup, or any dip of your choice.
