I rarely eat the same thing every day but I do have a goal of trying to maintain 207g of protein while trying to stay around 2250 Calories (which I often go over, but I’m not all that strict about it).
Measuring macros is pretty easy for me because I’m constantly recipe developing and measuring out everything anyway. So using incorporating snacks and treats is no big deal. Before I had a habit of mindlessly grazing which paired off with a total lack of impulse control was a disaster for eating healthy. Practicing mindful eating to me means not denying yourself joy but also being present to actually enjoy what you’re treating yourself to and also making use of those treats too. I like being active and I like being strong, and so if I can put that Ube cookie to use and run laps with my pup on it, I’m gonna do that.
