Chole Tikki: A Delicious and Healthy Snack
High-Protein, Low-Calorie Chole Tikki for Weight Loss
Ingredients
1 bowl boiled chickpeas (chole)
1/2 finely chopped onion
1-2 green chilies, finely chopped
2 tablespoons coriander leaves, finely chopped
1 tablespoon gram flour (besan)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Method
In a bowl, mix together the boiled chickpeas, onion, green chilies, and coriander leaves.
Add gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, and garam masala and mix well.
Shape the mixture into tikkis and coat both sides with sesame seeds.
Heat oil on a griddle (tawa) and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with green chutney.
