Easy Palak Aloo / Spinach Aloo Recipe

Ingredients:

– 2 tbsp sarso ka tel/mustard oil
– 2 green chills (slit)
– 2 medium size aloo/ potatoes (diced)
– 500gm palak / spinach
– 2 whole red chilies
– 1 tbsp methi k dane
– 4 cloves garlic (crushed)
– Salt as per taste

Instructions:

– In a pan or kadai, add sarso ka tel/mustard oil
– Temper with some methi ke dane and sabut lal mirch/ whole red chilies
– Add the diced aloo to the oil
– cook it for 2 mints
– add the crushed garlic and stir well on a high flame
– cook until the raw smell of garlic is gone
– add the spinach to the pan and stir well
– add the slit green chilies to the pan
– cover and cook for 5 minutes
– cook until the aloo is done perfectly
– do not overcook the spinach
– stir and cook for 2 minutes on high flame
– your galicy palak aloo is ready
