INGREDIENTS
Black gram /split black gram /white urad dal – 1 cup
Jaggery powder- ¾ cup
Ghee – 5 to 6 tbsp
Cashews
Cardamom – 4 [ powdered ]
Dry fruits finely chopped [ optional ]
METHOD
Dry roast black gram till they turn aromatic and golden brown. Be careful don’t burn it . [ If it is not roasted well then rawness of the urad dal will be there ]
Cool and grind with to a fine powder.
Heat ghee , fry the dry fruits and remove it.
Lower the flame and add the jaggery .
Mix well , stir and cook till the jaggery melts completely.
Add the dal powder + cardamom pwdr + fried dryfruits and mix well.
stir and cook till all combine well . Now make Laddus or burfis as shown in video
