Ingredients:
500g Sliced & Peeled Potatoes (mandolin for the best results or thinly slice using knife – thinner slices will result in a crispier texture)
Bowl Of Cold Water + Ice (soaking the potatoes in an ice bath removes extra starch to make the potatoes even crunchier)
Cooking Oil Spray (FryLight)
Sour Cream & Onion Seasoning:
1/2 Tbsp Salt
1 Tsp Dried Parsley
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
2 Tsp Onion Powder
1 Tsp Sweetener/White Sugar Alternative (monkfruit, stevia etc)
1/2 Tbsp Buttermilk Powder
1/2 Tsp Dried Dill
Cooking Times:
(may vary slightly depending on the air fryer/oven)
Air Fryer = 200C/400F For 10 – 15 Minutes
Oven Bake = 200C/400F For 15 – 25 Minutes
Flip & spray oil halfway for both methods.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
I used Carisma Potatoes here which have 25% less carbs than normal spuds. You can easily sub in regular white or russet potatoes too. Even with that this entire meal is still less than half the calories you’d get from a store bought version.
