Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for spice)
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt & black pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
Pat salmon fillets dry and brush lightly with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Rub the spice mix generously over both sides of the salmon.
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until very hot.
Add salmon and sear 3–4 minutes per side until blackened and cooked through.
