Kids, especially babies depend on their parents for proper nutrition. As a mother I some times worry that I may be doing certain things wrong; in terms of feeding my son. And on such days, I become charged to think of yummy and healthy meals and snacks to make for him. Even without having to go for the packaged ones and, there’s no greater joy than knowing that he’s getting enough nourishment from his meals.
Why border making purée when they can eat the fruits as they are? Good question, but why do adults take smoothies? Now you understand where I’m coming from; it’s an easy way to grab nutrients and don’t have to be expensive, hence making them at home.
Ingredients:
Yoghurt
Half a banana (mashed up)
Few blueberries sliced up
Plain or Greek yoghurt
Fruit Purée
1 apple
1 pear
Tip: liver and mackerel spreads are quite healthy for kids. Spreading it on their bread could make a great in between meal too
