Namaste doston! Aaj Cooking with Putul par lekar aayi hoon ek naya, healthy aur bahut hi tasty nashta — Steam Bada Poha! Ye ek nayi tarah ka twist hai regular poha mein, jisme humne banaya hai fluffy steamed poha balls — bina tel ke, bina jhanjhat ke, lekin taste mein zabardast!
Ingredients:
•1cup Poha (medium thickness)
1 cup Dahi (curd)
1 finely chopped Onion
1 Green Chili (finely chopped)
1/2 inch Ginger (grated)
1/4 tsp Haldi powder
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
Curry leaves (optional)
Fresh coriander (chopped)
Eno fruit salt – 1 tsp (or baking soda – 1/2 tsp)
Steps:
Poha Soak Karna: Poha ko ache se dho kar 10 minute ke liye dahi ke saath bhigo dein.
Masala Mix Karna: Isme chopped pyaaz, hari mirch, adrak, haldi, namak, aur thoda hara dhaniya daal kar ache se mila lein.
Fluff Up: Ab is mixture mein eno ya baking soda daal kar turant ache se mila lein.
Steaming: Poha mixture ko haathon se gol bada (ball) shape dein aur greased steamer plate pe rakh dein. Medium flame pe 12–15 minute tak steam karen.
Tadka (optional): Chhoti kadhai mein tel garam karke mustard seeds, curry leaves ka tadka banakar steamed bade pe daal sakte hain.
Serve: Inhe chutney ke saath garma-garam serve karein — perfect breakfast ya light snack!
