In this video I am going to show you how to make Thakkali kadayal | Tomato curry for idli fosa rice #shorts #food #recipe
Ingredients
Tomato – 5 Medium size
Garlic – 8 to 10
Potato – medium size
Turmeric- 1/4 teaspoon
Chilli- 2 to 3
Chilli powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves
Dry chilli – 2
Oil – 2 tablespoon
Onion shallots – 10
Onion – 1 Medium size
Salt for taste
Coriander leaves
Mustard seeds- half teaspoon
Method
1) In a pressurecooker, add chopped tomato, garlic , Onion shallots, potato
2) Then add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder, required salt, slit chilli, chilli powder half teaspoon, 2 cup water and pressure cook for 2 whistle, mash it and keep aside.
3) In a small pan, add two tablespoon of oil, mustard let it splutter, onion, curry leaves, Dry chilli and hing
7) Add the tempering and garnish with coriander leaves
6) Thakkali kadayal is ready to serve.
