Matcha is a powdered green tea, which is loaded with antioxidants and shown to help lower blood pressure, cholesterol, and increase metabolism and fat burning.
I absolutely adore matcha just for the flavor… I wanted to find another way to indulge my obsession, so have come up with an energy bite recipe for you!
Many of the recipes I see for energy bites are based on dates and/or coconut oil, and I wanted to try an alternative. So this one uses tahini and maple syrup (or bee-free honee) as a base instead of dates and coconut oil. Hope you enjoy them!
