Oats are among the healthiest grains on earth. They’re a gluten-free whole grain and a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants.
Urad dal has protein, fat, and carbohydrates which is required by the body. If you are looking for a protein-friendly diet, then opt for urad dal.
INGREDIENTS: (For Dosa) INGREDIENTS:(For Chutney)
1 Cup urad dal 1 Cup roasted peanuts
1/4 Tbsp fenugreek seeds 4 Green chilli
1/2 Cup rice 2 Large garlic cloves
2 Cup Oats 1/4 Tbsp mustard seeds
Salt(as per your taste) 1/4 Tbsp cumin seeds
Oil/Ghee (to apply on dosa) 6 Curry leaves
2 Tbsp oil(for tempering)
PROCEDURE:(for Dosa)
1-Take a bowl and add urad dal + fenugreek seeds + rice.
2-Rinse them twice and soak with sufficient water for 3 hours.
~After 2:50 hours ~
3-Take an other bowl and add oats.( you can also add 1/4 cup poha for smooth dosa)
4-Rinse them once and soak in water for 5 minutes.
5-Rinse the oats again and soak for 5 more minutes.
~Now its 3:00 hours in total~
6-Grind urad dal to a smooth paste.
7-Grind Oats to a smooth paste.
8-Add both of them in a same bowl and add salt(as per your taste).
9-Mix it well and cover the bowl with a lid and place it in a warm place over night. (I placed in Oven, turning the light inside ON)
10-Next day morning, Take the batter out and adjust the consistency for dosa (adding water if required).
11-Heat the pan and spread the dosa batter as shown(in video) and apply oil or ghee.
12-Your dosa is ready!
PROCEDURE:(For Chutney)
1-Take a roasted peanuts in a grinding jar and add raw green chili + salt(as per your taste).
2-Make it a smooth paste by adding water.
3-Take it to a bowl and now prepare tempering(Tadka).
4-Place a pan and add oil + garlic + cumin + mustard seeds + turmeric(optional) + curry leaves.
5-Add this tempering to chutney and mix well.
6-Spicy chutney is ready!

TIP:
1-Adding poha to oats will also speed up the process of fermentation.(if you do not have more time to rest it overnight).
2-Soaking oats for few minutes and washing them release acidic nature of it. (Where consuming oats some times causes digestive problems can be avoided)
3-Adding raw chili to peanuts while grinding make chutney really spicy and yummy:).
