In this video will see how to prepare Semiya bhath (Semiya kichadi ) in tamil. You can add your favorite vegetables like Carrot,Green peas, Beans.Its a healthy and protein dish.Ideal dish for Breakfast and dinner.I have done this recipe with roasted vermicelli.
Ingredients :
Semiya (Vermicelli) – 300 Gms
Carrot,Beans and boiled Green peas : 1 cup
Oil- 3 Tbs
Onion – 1
Green chili – 1
Tomato – 1/2
Mustard- 1 Tbs
Turmeric – 1 Tbs
Urad dal,Bengal gram Dal – 1 Tbs
Gingers – 1 inch
Water ,Salt – As required
Steps to prepare :
1) In the heated pan add oil,Urad dal,Bengal gram dal,finely chopped Ginger,Chopped onion,tomato,coriander leaves and saute well.
2)Now add Carrot,beans and boiled green peas
3)Add required salt,water and mix well.
4)Close the lid and leave it for 10 minutes.
5)Add Semiya (Vermicelli) and mix well with vegetables.
6)Close the lid for 10 minutes.
Now,tasty semiya bath recipe is ready.Serve hot for yummy taste.
