Paneer Beetroot Parathas
( A high protein and high fibre recipe for those who are in a weight loss journey or just be little diet conscious)
Ingredients 🌿
For the filling
Fresh paneer -250 gms greted
Fresh Coriander 🌿- 2 tablespoons
Fresh green chillies- 2 -3finely sliced
Coriander powder-1 teaspoon
Garam masla -1/4 teaspoon
Kasturi methi – 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
For the dough :
wheat flour -1 cup
oats flour -1 cup
Beetroot puree -3 tablespoons
Ajwain -1/2 teaspoon
Oil – 1 -2 teaspoon
Salt -1/4 Teaspoon
Preparation ⏰
1. Grate the paneer and add Kasturi methi , freshly chopped coriander, sliced green chillies, salt , coriander powder and garam masala , mix everything well and keep it aside .
2. Now in a large pan take the wheat flour, oats flour , Beetroot puree, ajwain , oil and salt , mix everything well and then add little water at a time to make even dough out of it . Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.
3. Now make equal balls out of the dough and roll out each portion , fill it with the paneer filing, and secure the ball properly , roll it again and make round parathas out of it .
4. Roast each parathas in the skillet with some ghee .
Serve it with your favourite raita , chutney or Pickle ( Achaar) .
Note : please be liberal with your stuffing for a wholesome paratha .
