If you like idlis and dosas you must try this breakfast item. It’s a mix of both, and tastes so so delicious! Super easy to prepare and takes only a few minutes.
Ingredients I used:
– 2 cups idli/dosa batter
– 1/3 cup onions, finely chopped
– 1/3 cup carrots, grated
– 1/3 cup green bell peppers, finely chopped
– 1/3 cup beetroots, grated
– 1/4 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
– 1 to 2 green chillies, finely chopped
– 1/2 inch ginger, grated
– salt to taste
– 1 tsp ghee
– 1/8 tsp mustard seeds
– 1/8 tsp sesame seeds
– few curry leaves
Procedure:
– Mix all the veggies to your dosa batter as shown.
– Heat ghee in a kadhai and splutter mustard seeds.
– Add sesame seeds and curry leaves.
– Pour the veggie dosa batter and keep it covered till it’s completely cooked on one side.
– Flip it over and cook again for a few minutes till it’s cooked through and through.
Serve with some coconut chutney.
