Misal is a popular and favourite snack and so is sandwich. Here we are making fusion recipe, missal sandwich. You can call this as sprout sandwich too. It tastes just yummy. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup Sprouted Mataki
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric power
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 cup Water
• 1 tsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp Hing
• 4~5 Curry leaves
• Finely chopped Onion
• 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
• 1 tsp Goda masala
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• Salt to taste
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• 4 tsp Mayonnaise
• 1 tsp Kanda lasun masala
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• Slice breads
• Cheese slice
• Farsan
• Finely chopped Onion
• Finely chopped Tomato
• Shev
• Butter
Method:
• Take mataki in a cooker and add turmeric powder, salt, water.
• Mix well and cook on medium heat until just 1 whistle.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
• Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
• Add hing, curry leaves, onion and mix well.
• Fry until onion gets nice golden color.
• Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
• Add goda masala, red chili powder and mix well.
• Add cooked mataki and mix well.
• Add salt and mix well.
• Add coriander leaves and mix well.
• Misal stuffing is all ready.
• Take mayonnaise in a bowl and add kanda lasun masala. Mix
well.
• The mixture should be nice and smooth. No lumps should be left
behind.
• Add red chili powder and mix well.
• Spread the mayonnaise mixture on one side of the breads.
• Place a slice of cheese on one of the bread and add the missal
stuffing.
• Spread a little farsan, onion, tomato, shev and close the sandwich
with another bread slice.
• Spread butter on outer side of the sandwich and put it on hot grill
pan with buttered side facing down.
• Grill well until the lower side gets nice color and spread butter on
upper side too.
• Flip the sandwich over and roast well from other side as well.
• Missal sandwich is all ready.
• Cut into half and serve.
