Hello, this is Auntie Wangson, Pasidaro.
This is homemade peanut butter filled with a whole new level of nuttiness and health benefits. Once you make it yourself, you won’t be able to buy it anymore. That’s exactly what happened to me! 😁
Commercial products often contain emulsifiers, preservatives, refined sugar, and hydrogenated vegetable oil to extend shelf life and prevent separation.
Mine is a completely healthy jam made with 100% roasted peanuts, or just a little salt and honey.
Furthermore, while mass-produced factory products may contain added flavorings, peanut butter ground fresh at home is rich in the deep nuttiness unique to freshly roasted peanuts and is abundant in healthy, “good” oils.
Making homemade jam is really easy, so the biggest charm of homemade products is that you can adjust the sweetness to your preference or health condition by completely removing sugar or using alternative sweeteners (stevia, allulose, etc.).
I enjoy dipping apples generously in peanut butter; they are a nutritionally perfect pairing.
When the abundant dietary fiber in apples meets the protein and fat in peanut butter, it slows down the absorption rate of carbohydrates. This prevents blood sugar from rising rapidly, making it beneficial for weight loss and diabetes prevention.
Since dietary fiber and healthy fats are consumed simultaneously, it provides a long-lasting feeling of fullness. This is why it is the perfect substitute for a busy breakfast or a healthy snack.
The acidity and crispness of the apple neutralize the heavy, nutty flavor of the peanut butter, preventing it from becoming tiresome.
**200% Peanut Butter Utilization Tips**
Mixing peanut butter with soy sauce, oligosaccharide, vinegar, and lemon juice creates a fantastic peanut sauce. It tastes very similar to Indonesian ‘Gado-Gado’ dressing, so I use it as a dipping sauce for Vietnamese spring rolls or as a shabu-shabu sauce.
Also, for my youngest sibling who is obsessed with building muscle, blending a spoonful of peanut butter with bananas, oatmeal, yogurt, and milk creates a protein-rich energy drink. I use it quite a lot when baking. It is incredibly delicious when added to cookie dough or used as a filling for muffins.
**Here is the recipe**
**Raw Peanuts 500g**
**Honey 30g**
**Salt 2g**
**1. Spread the raw peanuts flat and bake them in a 160°C oven for about 10 minutes, or roast them in a dry frying pan over low heat for about 10 minutes.
**2. Put the roasted peanuts into a blender and grind them.
Once some oil has been released,
add the honey and salt and grind until it becomes creamy.
