– Whole Moong – 1 cup (soak overnight & pressure cook with salt – 2 whistles)
– Onion – 1 medium, chopped
– Tomato – 1 medium, pureed
– Green chillies – 2, slit
– Oil – 2 tbsp
– Salt to taste
– Coriander leaves for garnish
Whole Spices –
– Cinnamon 1-inch
– Black cardamom – 1
– Cloves – 3
Dry Spices –
– Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
– Coriander powder – 1 tsp (heaped)
– Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
– Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
– Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
– Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
