In my 12 years of coaching, whenever someone starts dieting or restricting calories they tend to always start with a 1200 calorie meal plan. It does not matter the diet. Paleo. Keto. IIFYM. Mediterranean. A large majority of people start at 1200. Not sure where this trend started and I’m not here to say whether it is good or bad. Maybe it’s because 1200 seems like a low enough number to where you’re not going to die or feel deprived. Maybe because 24 hours a day divided by 2 is 12. Whatever the case people always tell me they’re eating 1200 calories a day. So I took the liberty to create 3 separate 1200 calorie days of eating. Each one representing a potential type of person. Let me make clear that I am not saying to go and eat 1200 calories a day. The purpose of this vlog is to show and inform you on the reality of what 1200 calories looks like.
