For all of us working here on Broadway, the theatre district is our home turf. But did you know that tucked among the theatres and restaurants we frequent are neighbors who are truly in need?
In our post-show appeals, we tell audiences their donations support more than 450 social service agencies across the country and many of those organizations are right here in the theatre district, providing healthy meals and lifesaving services to our neighbors.
Thanks to the work we do together, people in need are receiving hot meals, access to food pantries and nutrition education to help them live healthier lives.
Everyone who holds a bucket or drops money into one is making someone’s life better. Our entire community – those of us onstage, and backstage and in the audience – is saving lives, every day. Thank you for sharing your time and your heart. You’re making a difference for people all over the country and also, right here, in your own backyard.
