HUMMUS
Ingredients:
• 1 can chickpeas (or white beans)
• 1 lemon, juiced
• ¾ cup water
• ¼ cup tahini
• ¼ cup olive oil
• 1 garlic clove, crushed
• Optional: add baked/roasted red pepper, parsley, or feta cheese for flavour

Directions:
1. Rinse chickpeas under water in strainer for approximately 60 seconds to reduce the sodium.
Add rinsed chickpeas, lemon juice, water, garlic, tahini, and oil to blender, and blend until smooth. Scrape hummus into a bowl, serve with fresh veggies and pita chips! 

GREEK YOGURT TZATZIKI

Equipment Required: Strainer, Blender, Knife, Cutting Board, Measuring Cup, Bowl, Measuring Spoon

Ingredients:
• 1 cup grated cucumber, strained in paper towel to remove juices
• ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
• 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
• 2 tsp chopped fresh dill
• 1 ½ teaspoons lemon juice
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• ¼ tsp salt

Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, garlic, dill, and salt, mix, and serve!
