I like to keep my meals to £1 if possible yet not compromise on staying healthy. To do this I plan out my meals and batch cook and this is what helps me save a lot of money on food. I also shop with a food list so there’s no impulse buying or over buying!
Not eating meat or dairy is a personal choice, but this certainly helps keep the cost down!
