I didn’t use any protein powder in this video, but even when on a budget, it is something I would spend something extra money on every so often to add flavour and protein to my breakfasts/snacks!
RECIPES
BREAKFAST – THICCXC AF OATS
1/2-3/4 cups oats
100ml soya milk
100ml water
1.cook on hob or in microwave for 3 mins
Topped with soya yogurt, apple and dark chocolate
LUNCH – SPICED “REFRIED” BEANS ON TOAST
1/2 tin kidney beans
1/4 juice of lemon
1/4 tsp harrisa paste
1/2 tsp paprika
lots of salt and black pepper
tbsp hummus
1.mash together, but leave slightly chunky! spread of toast and top with your fave veggies and hot sauce 🙂
SNACK – TURMERIC LATTE
200ml soya milk
1/4 tsp turmeric
crack of black pepper
sprinkle each of allspice, cinnamon and ginger
pinch of stevia
1. blend together and heat on hob…FROTH!
DINNER – SAUSAGE AND MASH
The meal is fairly explanatory but for the Sauce…
tbsp hummus
squeeze of lemon juice
pinch of salt
clove of garlic/garlic granules
water to thin to desired paste
1.mix all together!
