Alice Waters is a chef, author, food activist, and the founder and owner of Chez Panisse and an advocate for local sustainable agriculture. As Vice President of Slow Food International she has worked towards the improvement of the food industry, promoting organic food and highlighting the importance of a healthy nutrition. She has worked closely with schools to ensure lunch is accessible to all children, guaranteeing a sustainable food curriculum within public schools.
