LOW CALORIE AND TASTY FOOD | EASY BREAKFAST EASY LUNCH IDEAS by R Sridevi Online

Dear Friends,

Today, I am going to present to you my favourite dish – BISIBELE BHATH. This dish originates from the Indian State of Karnataka and it is a better version or variant of the North Indian dish Khichdi.

WHY IS BISIBELE BHATH GOOD FOR YOU?
* Bisibele Bhath is extremely good for all especially for the foodies who love rice but are worried about putting on those extra pounds of weight
* Bisibele Bhath is made by mixing rice and lentils – lentils as we know are rich in proteins
* In Bisibele Bhath we mix Tur Dal (lentil) also known as Split Pigeon Peas, which is protein-rich, has high folic acid, they are light on the stomach and aids digestion. Tur dal contains healthy complex carbohydrates which lowers the risk of diabetes and heart diseases. It is also rich in iron and fibre.
* Bisibele Bhath also comes packed with many vegetables, which is why most people who are on a regular Bisibele Bhath diet lose weight quickly.

This is a dish that is good as a standalone dish. You may compliment the dish with curd or raita which enhances its taste, but even without any side dish Bisibele Bhath stands out as a lone wolf that will satiate your hunger and cravings for a good delicious meal.

Without much ado, let me now share with you the INGREDIENTS to make Bisibele Bhaat :

Enjoy this recipe!
