Millet Pulao is a healthy, delicious and fulfilling dish which can be made for breakfast or lunch or dinner. Pulao is a single pot rice dish made with aromatic spices by sauteing the vegetables. It is easy to make and tasty to eat. Its low in calories and high on nutrition. It can be served with Raita or any vegetable gravy.
Ingredients:
Foxtail millet / korralu – 1 cup
Onions – sliced (1 medium)
Chilies – 5 sliced
Carrot chopped – 1/2 cup
Beans chopped – 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste – 1 spoon
Star Anise – 2
Cashew- few (optional)
Cardamom – 5
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Cloves – 5
Marathi Moggu – 3
coriander – for garnishing (optional)
Ghee/ oil – 4 spoons
Water – 2.5 cup (for every 1 cup of millets)
u can add any other vegetable if needed
