DESCRIPTION

A healthy bread made from stoneground whole grain 100% rye flour which is naturally low in gluten with a pleasing continental flavour

INGREDIENTS

Olive oil (or refined coconut oil)

3 eggs

2 medium-sized ripe bananas, mashed (or 2 large)

1/4 cup  milk

2 tsp baking soda

Handful dried fruit

2cups rye flour

2 handfuls dark chocolate chips

Some yoghurt

Handful of walnuts- wowzzer tastes!

3 cups of giftedness

2cups of commitment

Handful of passion

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Whisk the olive oil, Next add the eggs, mashed bananas, milk and Whisk until combined.

Then mix together the baking soda, salt, and rye flour.

mix together using a spatula/spoon just until combined. Don’t overmix. Fold in the chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top if desired.

Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan and pour the mixture into your loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

This bread goes well with sugarless white coffee and some great company!

Let cool in the pan for an hour before removing.
